Phone and seatbelt crackdown catches hundreds
More than 250 drivers and passengers were detected not wearing seatbelts and nearly 50 drivers were caught using a mobile phone in last week’s crackdown by Kent Police and the Kent & Medway Safety Camera Partnership.
The enforcement took place at safety camera sites and around towns across Kent and Medway. 14 seatbelt fines were issued to drivers who had unrestrained children in their vehicles.
